You do not choose or contact outside buyers. SellCardNow checks the card, confirms the payout, pays you in your local currency — NGN, KES, GHS, XOF, or XAF — and handles support.

KolaCash Limited
Our founder spent over a decade in the gift card industry — seven years as an operator inside the trade before launching the KolaCash brand in 2021. KolaCash has been buying gift cards from African sellers since then, building the supplier network, the live-rate engine, and the seller community that now power both of our brands.
In June 2025 we incorporated the operating entity as KolaCash Limited in Hong Kong — formalizing the legal vehicle that had been running the KolaCash brand for four years. Today we run two parallel brands under that one company:
- KolaCash — our original buyer-side operation, serving sellers since 2021. Independently verifiable on the Apple App Store (publisher: KOLACASH LIMITED) and on Trustpilot.
- SellCardNow — our 2024 customer-facing payout platform, the one you are on now.

SellCardNow is structured differently from a single local buyer. We combine global buyer/recycler demand, pricing data, and official SellCardNow operations so sellers can see a stronger final payout price without negotiating with third parties.
Behind that customer experience is something most African sellers do not see directly: a deep root in China's mature gift card supply chain. The KolaCash team has worked with Chinese gift card redemption operators since long before the African retail wave, and those relationships help our global buyer/recycler network stay competitive. Customers do not need to see, choose, or negotiate with those operators. 3. Get paid locally
Once the card is verified, you receive payment to your M-PESA, Nigerian bank, MTN or Orange Mobile Money, or other local rail — typically in under a minute.
